Softball Catching & Defense Coach
With a 17 year athletic career and a decade of coaching under her belt, Kaitlyn has mastered the developmental approach to the game of softball. Specializing in catching and defense, she aims to help her athletes build from the bottom-up – prioritizing mechanics, skill development, and expanding their knowledge of the game. Using a fun, energy driven approach, Kaitlyn inspires, empowers, and challenges her athletes to reach their highest level of play through consistent hard work and harnessing a true passion for the game.

- 5-year Varsity Letter Winner in Softball
- 5 time CIML All-Conference select
- Graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with an AA of Fitness and Sports Management in 2016
- 2-year Varsity Letter Winner in Softball
- 2 time NJCAA DII National Tournament Qualifier in Softball (placing 3rd in 2015 and 5th in 2016)
- Awarded Academic All-Region Honors in 2015 and 2016
- Graduated from Simpson College with a BA of Exercise Science in 2018
- 1-year Varsity Letter Winner in Softball
- Completed a Strength and Conditioning internship at Indianola High School in 2018
- Former Junior Varsity and Varsity softball coach at Des Moines Roosevelt High School (2014-2020)
- Former Junior Varsity and Varsity softball coach at Waukee High School (2021)
- Current Junior Varsity and Varsity softball coach at Waukee Northwest High School
- Currently expanding on a decade long coaching career in the competitive club softball circuit (coaching both youth and high school level teams)
