Penney has not only played the game, but has been a coach that has impacted the lives of 1,000’s of athletes who have crossed paths. Her promise has always been to return them better than when they arrived. She also believes that the game will teach us more than the game itself. If you know Penney, she believes that each athlete will become a game-changer in life, and this is her “why.” When you ask her ,she will tell you that she has built her business on the following: “For the love of the game forever and always.”
Preston is our head strength and conditioning coach. His energy and drive to get the best out of his athletes is what pushes him to better at his craft. He has been coaching for 10 years at the high school and collegiate level. Preston’s ability to work with all levels of athletes makes him very unique and qualified.
Kacee is our pitching, defense and catching instructor. Her bold and driven attitude speaks for itself. She has been instructing for 8 years. Kacee has the ability to adapt and connect with her athletes to drive them to their greatest potential.
Kolby graduated from Indianola High School in 2007. He earned All-Conference selection in 2006 and 2007. After high school, Kolby attended DMACC from 2008-09, making the JUCO World Series appearance in 2008 & 2009. Kolby finished his Bachelor’s degree at Ouachita Baptist University and earned National D2 Player of the Week in 2011, and 1st Team All-Gulf South Conference Pitcher Selection in 2011. After Kolby’s collegiate career, he played 4 seasons of minor league baseball. During the spring of 2012, Kolby was invited by the Baltimore Orioles to train. Kolby and his family reside in West Des Moines, Iowa, where he currently owns and operates Edward D. Jones. Kolby holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. He enjoys working at GR!T because it provides him the opportunity to give back to the game.
